One UI 7.0 will release the beta version in just a week, surprising that Samsung managed to keep the new interface secret. The first version based on Android 15 can be admired in a series of spy images, showing the interface on a test phone.
It seems that the rumors of Samsung copying the interface style from the competition are partially true, with two versions of the notification menu: “Quick Settings” and an expanded “Notifications” version, which users can switch between by swiping left-right . It's unclear if there are any shortcuts for accessing these menus, but the new UI has more rounded edges, suggesting some inspiration from the competition.
The design, however, looks like an improved version of the old Quick Panel from One UI 6.0, contradicting rumors that Samsung copied the iOS interface. Icons for flagship apps like Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Weather have been updated, and the icons for Phone and Samsung Internet have a more three-dimensional look. In the Settings menu, section separators now have more rounded corners.

The Continuity feature has been improved, now allowing video call notifications to be sent to nearby Samsung devices, so calls can be continued from a Galaxy phone to a Galaxy tablet or Samsung TV if they're connected to the same Samsung account. Notifications now have a more rounded and spaced look.
The first beta version of One UI 7.0 will initially be available for Galaxy S24 owners, and will be extended to other high-end models such as Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 The official release is scheduled for this fall, with most eligible devices receiving the new firmware before the end of the year. Mid-range devices will receive the update in the first quarter of 2025.
