The new Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ models are positioned in the affordable smartphone category, distinguished by their processors, display sizes, and camera configurations.
The Realme 14 Pro+ features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the 14 Pro variant has a slightly smaller 6.77-inch screen. Both phones offer FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. The front camera differs, with the 14 Pro sporting a 16MP sensor, while the Pro+ boasts a 32MP camera.
A significant difference lies in the chipset: the Realme 14 Pro+ is equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, whereas the 14 Pro opts for the Dimensity 7300, offering slightly lower performance.
In India, the Pro+ is priced at around $325, while the Pro version costs approximately $265. Both models feature a 50MP main camera, but the Pro+ uses a Sony IMX 896 sensor measuring 1/1.56”, whereas the Pro relies on the Sony IMX882. This sensor is also used in the Pro+ model’s secondary camera, which provides 3X optical zoom. Both phones include an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
Compared to its predecessor, the Realme 13 Pro, the 14 Pro model benefits from a larger 6000mAh battery, offering 20% more autonomy in normal usage. Fast charging is supported at 80W via USB-C, nearly double that of the previous generation. The manufacturer claims the battery can withstand up to 1600 full charging cycles, retaining at least 80% of its original capacity for over four years.
Available globally with UI 6.0 (based on Android 15), the Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ come in Black, Purple, and Pearl White color options, with memory variants starting at 8GB/128GB, depending on the region. The launch in India is scheduled for this month, while the European market might see the new series in February, although there is no official confirmation yet.
